2027 4-Star TJ Jamison Updates Recruitment, Names Schools Showing Strongest Interest

One of the top prospects in the 2027 class is beginning to see his recruitment take shape.

Four-star guard TJ Jamison recently provided an update on his recruitment, noting that several high-major programs have emerged as consistent presences in his process. According to Jamison, Maryland, Alabama, Baylor, Louisville, and Arkansas are the schools he hears from most at this stage.

Jamison, regarded as one of the more complete backcourt prospects in the cycle, has drawn early attention thanks to his combination of scoring ability, feel for the game, and versatility on both ends of the floor. While the 2027 recruiting class is still in its early stages, it’s notable that multiple power-conference programs are already establishing steady communication.

Maryland’s early involvement is not surprising, as the Terrapins have made it a priority to build relationships early with high-upside guards. Alabama and Arkansas, both known for fast-paced systems that emphasize guard play, also make sense given Jamison’s ability to create offense in space and play with tempo. Baylor and Louisville round out the list as programs with strong developmental track records and national visibility.

At this point, Jamison has not indicated favorites, nor has he discussed visits or a timeline moving forward. Instead, the focus remains on continued development and gathering information as coaches continue evaluating and recruiting him.

As a rising prospect, Jamison’s recruitment is expected to expand over the coming months, particularly as college staffs increase their presence at spring and summer evaluation periods. Still, the early and consistent communication from these five programs speaks volumes about how highly he is regarded by college coaches.

With plenty of time left in the process, Jamison appears content taking a measured approach — but Maryland, Alabama, Baylor, Louisville, and Arkansas have clearly positioned themselves as programs to watch as his recruitment continues to evolve.
